Amidst the breathtaking landscapes, participants will engage in meaningful activities, fostering a sense of community, environmental consciousness, and personal growth.

Our retreat begins with hands-on involvement in sustainable agriculture, as the girls work on a local farm, gaining valuable insights into farming practices, organic cultivation, and the importance of local food systems. This immersive experience not only connects them with the land but also promotes a deeper understanding of sustainable living, boosting their confidence in their ability to effect change.

As stewards of the environment, our participants will contribute to the preservation of Oahu's pristine beaches by taking part in a beach cleanup initiative. Through this activity, they'll witness the direct impact of their efforts on marine life and coastal ecosystems, instilling a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship, further enhancing their self-esteem.

Exploration extends beyond land and sea, as the girls delve into the fascinating realm of habitats. Guided by knowledgeable experts, they'll learn about the delicate balance of ecosystems, biodiversity, and the interconnectedness of all living beings. This knowledge empowers them to become advocates for the environment and champions of wildlife conservation, contributing to a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

Adding a touch of inspiration to the retreat, the girls will have the unique opportunity to meet with a renowned movie maker. This encounter provides valuable insights into the power of storytelling and visual media as tools for advocacy and change. Through engaging discussions and perhaps a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of filmmaking, the girls will be inspired to use their voices to amplify important messages and create positive impact, reinforcing their self-esteem.

Our Story

Heal and Be Healthy, promotes mental wellness through the three pillars of Mind, Body, and Soul. We provide resources and support for individuals to develop and improve their physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and social health.

Teenage girls have a great need to improve their mental health. We help them through education on self-esteem, self-awareness, and natural ways to relax and embrace the challenges life brings them. We help them know their worth and that is it not tied to any worthiness, it is worth that never goes away. They have great potential already inside and they just need to realize they have the power to create the life they want and accomplish anything they can put their mind to.

Women and mothers usually put themselves last. They put family, husbands, work, and even church above their own self-care. We help them see their worth and greatness in everything they do. We help them see they are doing their best and they do not need to be perfect or compare themselves to others.

Older women need love and friendship. We provide this through music, song and just visiting and listening to a lonely soul.

Physical fitness is an essential part of mental health. We provide ways to move the body in a fun and energetic way.

Service is also great for mental health. When we serve others it can boost and lift moods, take breaks from the problems of life and lift another soul. We provide ways to reach out and serve others.

Usually, the people that need the most help cannot find or pay for resources. We want to provide these opportunities to the ones in need for low cost or for free, through a scholarship, or free event.

We provide education through classes, workshops, printed material, and retreats.

We have action through workshops, events, and races.

These will incorporate mental wellness within our 3 Pillars of Mind, Body, and Soul.
